TRICKLE n.3 Il mio primo post

News from “Eleven O’Clock”

Hi everybody!
The short we are working on is almost finished.
We have to complete some animations, and refine lighting in few shots.
In these days, we will start rendering.
I (Gherardo) am actually working on an original music for ending titles and I’m also collecting audio files for the sound design.

I hope we could finish the whole project the next weeks -> Continue reading ‘News from “Eleven O’Clock”’->

The second session of Trickle Project is close to reaching its end… :-(
But we are already thinking about the new session!! :-D
In this post we will describe the kind of people we are looking for to create the new team
The following part of the post is in Italian. Below you will find also the English translation.

Let’s do rendering!

The “Eleven o’clock” project is going on well.
We spent much time to organize some files (as we said in the preview posts the organization of files is fundamental!!) but now it’s time to render!
Mattia still working on animation. He had completed the 9th shot. All the shots are 22 so he still has a lot of work to do.

In the meanwhile we are rendering the completed shots.
So we can see what is wrong and what is right, and we have the time to the necessary corrections.
Here you can see a preview of first shot before and after shading and lighting (thanks to our shader Davide).

The 3D short of Trickle Project is going on very well.
The dead-line is incoming and we have a lot of things to do.

Lorenzo now is refining the last UV maps and textures remaining.
Davide, after completed the shading of the objects, is taking care of the lighting of the two environments shot by shot.
Least but non last, Mattia is working on the animation.
Here you can see the first two shots made by Mattia.
Tell us what do you think about it!!

The setting of the story

Add a comment

The scene takes place in an ancient attic, full of scrapheap and dust.
In this setting a heroic robot will help a cuckoo bird to realize his dream: to be free.
In this picture, realized by Davide, you can see how the attic looks like and you can feel the mood of the story.

Trickle week planner

This is the way we decide to organize our work during the weeks.

We don’t know if it is the best plan for this kind of project, but it’s an attempt,
so the next time we’ll be able to manage the planification of the work in a better way.

The whole project takes 12 weeks but we consider only 10 weeks for completion.
The latest 2 week will be useful to correct hypothetical mistakes or to refine the result of the video.
